Game Shows are a fascinating fusion of gambling and online entertainment programmes.
Let’s take a look at two games which have been added to the Game Show section recently.
New Game Shows: Sweet Bonanza CandyLand
Pragmatic Play has taken its sensational slot hit Sweet Bonanza™ and given it a Live Casino makeover!
Sweet Bonanza Candyland is a mega wheel-style game, incorporating 54 coloured sections on a vertical wheel.
The objective of the game is to correctly predict the segment in which the wheel will stop.
Sweet Bonanza CandyLand – How to Play
Bets must be placed during the allocated betting time before the next spin, and the time you have left to place bets is displayed at the bottom of the wheel.
There are six different segments on the wheel, and thus six different betting options.
To the right of these options, you have one further choice: whether to enable the Sugar Bomb Booster.
If this is set to the ‘on’ position, you’ll pay a 25% premium on your total stake, but if the wheel lands on this segment and your bet is successful, you’ll receive double your multiplier.
When you are ready, click on your desired stake and then on your selection. The total bet amount for that spin shows in the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
Then wait for the wheel to stop spinning and see if you have a winning bet!
Sweet Bonanza CandyLand – Payouts
You can bet on any of the six options. Betting on the three numbers gives payouts at a ratio of 1:1, 2:1 and 5:1 respectively, if you select the appropriate winning number.
A successful bet on any of the other three options will trigger Bonus rounds.
Sweet Bonanza CandyLand – Bonus rounds
In this Bonus game, there are eight symbols located on a 6×5 grid. You receive 10 Free Spins. Winning combinations are paid and then ‘tumble’ off the grid so that new ones may appear.
With a random multiplier of between 2x and 100x, you could win a nice Bonus amount.
In this Bonus game, there is one reel with five different outcomes. When the reel stops, the symbol in the middle, marked by a golden circle, will be the winning one.
The five possible outcomes are payout multipliers of 5x, 10x or 25x, the Candy Drop Bonus game, or the Sweet Spins Bonus game.
Choose from one of the three coloured candies in this Bonus game. The candy will drop through the obstacles and collect additional numbers that increase the winnings and/or multipliers as it falls.
Winnings are calculated based on the original bet amount, multiplied and added by the multiplier result at the end of the Bonus round. If this Bonus game started after landing on the Sugar Bomb multiplier, it will also be multiplied by that.
If the wheel lands on this segment, a random multiplier of up to 10x will drop, and a respin will be triggered. If a player selects the Sugar Bomb Booster, the awarded multiplier will double to 20x.
If you enjoy the slot game Sweet Bonanza™, why not try this fun-filled Game Show variation of one of your favourite games?
New Game Shows: Snakes & Ladders Live
Many of you will be familiar with the popular board game Snakes & Ladders. In this Game Show version from Pragmatic Play, four dice are rolled, which can lead to winning bet combinations or trigger one of the Bonus rounds.
The objective of the game is to bet on which of the various combinations results from the roll of the four dice.
Snakes & Ladders Main Game – Betting Options
The remaining betting period is shown on the timer, with the betting options underneath.
You can place bets on one or more of the different options: Diamonds, Stars, a combination of Diamonds and Stars, ST (Snake Totem Bonus) or SL (Snakes & Ladders Bonus).
If you trigger the Snakes & Ladders Bonus, a fifth die is rolled to determine the level of the Bonus: Gold, Silver, or Bronze.
Snakes & Ladders Main Game – Winnings
Betting on the diamonds, stars or a combination of both gives payouts at the ratios displayed on the tiles, if your bet is successful.
If three of the ST (Snake Totem) symbols show, or two of the SL (Snakes & Ladders) symbols, Bonus games will be triggered.
Snake Totem Bonus
To qualify for the Snake Totem Bonus, three or more of the ST symbols must be rolled on the main game, and you must have bet on the ST option.
The Snake Totem has three levels, with all tiles marked with prizes. When the Bonus is triggered, the tiles spin and the tiles that finish in the middle facet will be applied to that Bonus game.
Snake Totem Bonus – Winnings
The Bonus starts with the roll of a single dice, and the player progresses up the totem depending on the number rolled.
- Landing on a tile with a multiplier awards that multiplier and the round ends.
- Landing on a tile with a Snakes & Ladders 2, 3 or 5 symbol moves the Bonus to the Snakes & Ladders board and you continue playing with that Bonus instead.
If a six is rolled on the first dice, the player moves to the second level and another roll is made. Similarly, a further six takes the player to the top level of the totem.
Snakes & Ladders Bonus
If two or more of the SL symbols are rolled on the main game, the Snakes & Ladders Bonus is triggered.
A fifth die is then rolled, to see if the Bonus will be Gold (5 die rolls on the main board), Silver (3 die rolls) or Bronze (2 die rolls).
To qualify for the Snakes & Ladders Bonus, you must have bet on the correct type of SL Bonus, as indicated by the roll of the fifth die.
The board has increasing winnings multipliers the further you progress. If you land on a snake’s head, you move back down the board to the tile containing that snake’s tail.
Conversely, if you land at the foot of a ladder, you move up to the tile containing the top of that ladder.
Snakes & Ladders Bonus – Special Features
There are seven Safe Tiles marked with a lock. They become active once you land on or pass over them and, should the final multiplier be less than the highest activated Safe Tile (i.e., if you slide down a snake), the higher multiplier will be counted.
Additionally, there will be some PowerUP tiles. The number available will depend on how many SL symbols were on the original roll of the dice, and a maximum of three PowerUP tiles can be activated in any one Bonus round. Landing on one of these will give you an additional roll of the die.
Similarly, rolling a six will also give an additional roll of the die.
Once all the dice rolls have been completed, the winnings are based on the final multiplier the player has reached when the Bonus ends.
